BASIC INFORMATION
Montenegro is located between 41º 52´- 43º 42´ north latitude and 18º26´- 20º22´ east longitude, so it belongs to the central Mediterranean, ie southern Europe. It borders Serbia to the north, Albania to the southeast, the Adriatic Sea from Italy to the south, and its neighbors Croatia and Bosnia to the west.
VISA
Stay of up to 90 days is possible in Montenegro on the basis of a short-stay visa or without a visa. Citizens of the EU, the USA, Russia, Japan and Israel, as well as citizens of the surrounding countries, do not need a visa. All foreign nationals without registered residence are required to report their stay and change of address to the police within 24 hours of arrival. If you are staying in a hotel or private accommodation, the owners will do it for you.
MEANS OF PAYMENT AND CURRENCY
The official means of payment in Montenegro is EURO (€). In Montenegro, you can use the following credit cards: Visa, Visa Electron, MasterCard, Maestro, American Express, Diners. The largest number of catering facilities, restaurants, hotels, bars, gas stations, grocery stores and consumer goods allow payment by cards.
